The Baladi Show (2006)

My Baladi show, performed on stage in 2006 and filmed from the front of the audience.

It starts in the dark with a janitor, his broom and a figure hidden under a white sheet. From there it turns into a dance with a pink veil, coloured lights and a big translucent screen that makes my shadow part of the act. Later a partner in black latex joins me on stage.

The host welcomes me in French and in English before it begins.
