Polymorphe Studio Visit (2007)

A visit to Polymorphe, the latex fashion workshop, where designer Mario Bouchard shows us around a backward tour: first the finished garments, then back to where they begin.

We go from the inventory room, with thousands of outfits, to the cutting area where twelve years of patterns are stored, then down to the basement where Mario mixes his own latex colours from the raw material in 45-gallon drums. He jokes that the clear pink is my fault.

The black latex outfit I am wearing came from my own sketches, and Mario made it exactly like the drawing.
