When I traveled to Thailand in early 2015, I fell in love with Asia so much that I just knew right away that it was only a question of time for me to be back discovering more of this amazing and exciting continent. So when winter came back in Montreal blowing its dreadful cold breeze all over the city, in last February I packed my carry-on and flew my sexy French-Canadian ass to the Philippines.
It was very much tempting to return to Thailand, but the unknown was calling my name and so this time I opted to spend a good 3 weeks on the Philippine islands. And boy was I not disappointed of my choice! Of course, the Philippines being composed of more than 7,000 islands, I couldn’t see much of this beautiful country but just enough to assure you that not only Filipinos are extremely hospitable and charming with foreigners but the country itself is a diamond in the rough.
